MisUndeRsTood
Have you ever been misunderstood? Been guilty of poor communication? Had a key word dropped from or added to your message? Been judged harshly by someone who read a false motive into something you said or did?
Sometimes misunderstandings can be cleared up through fuller and better information. At other times, the person who misjudged a situation catches on, feels foolish, and takes the initiative. Sometimes there is nothing to be done - except try to go on with your life, without bitterness..
How many of us are guilty of this?? I'm not afraid to admit that I myself fall into this category; being misunderstood and myself misunderstood others. There are ways too many to provide an example. A simple conversation can lead to an argument. Why is that so and what are the factors that leads to this topic I'm writing? Communication breakdown? Tone of voice? The language that is being spoken? Or is it just based on assumptions. Does anyone out there knows hows to stay clear of it?
Honestly, I myself do not know and sometimes I feel that to misunderstood others and get misunderstood is so common and that apparently there is no way I can stay clear of as much as I want to. To even say that I do not wish to be bothered by it, I can't especially if it involves my loved ones... *sighs*
